Pre- and Post- Treatment Instructions

Before Your Treatment

• Do not wax, tweeze, or sugar hair for 2 to 3 weeks before treatment. You may continue to shave.
• Do not tan prior to treatment (at least 10 days).
• Shave or clip the hair the day BEFORE treatment.
• Take two Tylenol or Advil two hours before your treatment

After Your Treatment

• Use a moisturizer the night after your treatment, since skin may be slightly drier than normal immediately following treatment.
• Do not tan or use a self tanner in between treatments. Always use SPF 30 or greater.
• Hair shafts will be released from the follicles for about two weeks following treatment. You may shave or exfoliate the areas if you wish.
• You may shave in between treatments but do not wax, tweeze, or sugar.
• You may have blistering or scaling after treatment. While this is a rare complication, you should apply an antibacterial cream and contact the office if blistering occurs.
